Labyrinth House is operated by Labyrinth House LLC, a Hawaii limited liability company (“Labyrinth House,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Labyrinth House website, online courses, downloadable materials, community features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, purchasing a course, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Labyrinth House offers account access, educational content, community features, and digital resources intended to support personal learning, creative practice, and inner work. The content is for educational and reflective purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and is not a substitute for qualified professional care.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly at support@labyrnthhouse.com if you suspect any unauthorized use.
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
Labyrinth House welcomes spiritual, creative, wellness, coaching, and personal-development teaching. To keep scholars safe and the platform lawful, the following content is strictly prohibited and will be removed — and, where appropriate, reported to authorities and refunded to affected scholars:

How we enforce this: all submitted courses are screened by an automated content review system. Suspected violations are routed to a human reviewer who may unpublish the course, refund affected scholars (where Stripe permits), require revisions, or terminate the guide's account. Repeat or severe violations may be reported to law enforcement, payment processors, and other relevant authorities.
All content made available through the Service — including course videos, audio, written lessons, exercises, downloadable materials, graphics, branding, and software — is owned by Labyrinth House LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use purchased content for your own non-commercial learning. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Any content you submit (such as posts, comments, or shared exercises) remains yours, but you grant Labyrinth House a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display it solely as needed to provide the Service.
Courses on Labyrinth House are sold by independent guides, not by Labyrinth House LLC. Each guide creates their own account with our payment processor, Stripe, and is the seller of record for their courses. When you buy a course, the charge is created on the guide's own Stripe account: funds settle directly with them, less Stripe's standard processing fees and a flat 7% application fee retained by Labyrinth House LLC for operating the platform.
Because the guide is the seller of record, the guide — not Labyrinth House LLC — is responsible for their own income taxes, sales tax / VAT registration, the issuance of any tax forms by Stripe (such as the 1099-K in the U.S.), and the handling of refunds, chargebacks, and buyer disputes for their own courses. Labyrinth House LLC does not hold, transmit, or otherwise touch guide earnings.
Refund requests and billing questions for a specific course should be sent to the guide who sold it. See our refund policy for the standard process and timing.
We work to keep the Service available and functioning, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections intended by their nature to survive termination (including IP, payment, disclaimers, and liability) will survive.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the Service will meet your expectations or produce any particular outcome.
Labyrinth House courses are offered for educational, reflective, and personal-development purposes only. They are not, and are not intended to be, professional advice or services of any kind — including medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, counseling, legal, financial, tax, business, or spiritual-direction services. No certification, license, credential, diploma, or professional qualification is conferred by participation in any course.
Instructors, guides, teachers, facilitators, guest contributors, and any other beings, persons, or entities offering content or guidance through the Service (collectively, “Guides”) are not presumed to be licensed practitioners in any field, unless they expressly state otherwise and provide their credentials. Any information, opinions, perspectives, exercises, practices, recommendations, or guidance shared by Guides represent their own personal views and creative work, and should not be relied upon as professional advice.
You acknowledge and agree that participation in the Service involves inherent risks — including, without limitation, emotional, psychological, spiritual, physical, financial, relational, and reputational risks — and that you voluntarily assume all such risks. You are solely responsible for your own well-being, your decisions, the actions you take (or do not take) in response to course content, and the consequences of those actions. You agree to consult qualified, licensed professionals for any matter requiring professional expertise, including but not limited to mental health, medical, legal, or financial concerns.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you irrevocably release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Labyrinth House LLC, its members, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and Guides (each a “Released Party”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses of any kind — whether known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, in law or in equity — arising out of or in any way related to:
For clarity, purchases made directly from independent creators outside of Labyrinth House LLC are separate from these Terms unless we expressly state otherwise at checkout.
This release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of Hawaii. If any portion of this release is held to be invalid, the remainder will continue in full force and effect. Nothing in this section excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Labyrinth House LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Labyrinth House LLC in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Labyrinth House LLC and its Guides from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The state and federal courts located in Hawaii will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
